Help Those Impacted By Hurricane Harvey

100% of Your Donation Goes To
Support the Victims.

Do you ever wonder how much of your donations given to help victims of natural disasters every makes it to the victims? I do. And I think you should to. As you consider how to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey, determine to have ALL your money go to the victims.

At one point, I knew not all of my donations went to help the victims, but went to support the organizations, such as Red Cross, UNICEF, and others with their ongoing costs of operations. I figured the majority of my donations made it to the victims. That was before the Internet and the ability to search for such information.

The more I searched and researched, the more disgusted I became because I learned the majority of the donations didn’t go to help the victims. So I resigned myself to rationalizing that “something was better than nothing.”

Then I found Convoy of Hope. 100% of the operations costs of Convoy of Hope are supported by large donors and local churches. Then I learned 100% of my donations, given for a particular cause, went for that cause. None of my donation, not one penny, went for operations. I immediately stopped giving to the other organization and make all my donations for such disasters as Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Katrina and many other natural disasters through Convoy of Hope. I can’t go down to the affected areas myself, but I can support those who do and help provide the supplies needed through proper donations. And I sleep better at night knowing 100% of my money is going to help others and not line the pockets of highly-paid administrators.

You won’t hear of Convoy of Hope on national television or mainstream media. They are too busy “doing” for the victims to write the press releases and take the interviews. I am glad they have posted a website which lets me see their daily progress. Here’s a link to it:

Convoy of Hope Hurricane Harvey Operations

Take some time. Look over what they do for the victims. Check out the entire organization. Then donate to help them help others and know 100% of your donation goes to helping the victims.

Relief Efforts Start Before the Disaster

The following video shows how proactive Convoy of Hope is. Before Hurricane Harvey hit, they were stocking the trucks to provide relief.

And then, they arrived in affected Texas area as quickly as their trucks could take them. Here is another video of their efforts. I stand in amazement of their effectiveness.
