I have been a Christian since the fall of 1974. Prior to that, although I was raised a Lutheran, I never understood God’s love for me or what Jesus Christ did on the Cross. I didn’t understand the necessity for His horrendous torture and death. Today, I am eternally gratefully for His sacrifice.
My parents were tithers even before they accepted Christ as their personal savior. I don’t know if they did it out of habit or just felt it to be right. As a young Christian, I followed suit, also not knowing the blessings and privilege of being a part of God’s Kingdom Plan.
Over these past 40+ years, I have learned about the finished works of Jesus Christ and their direct impact in my life. As part of my local church, I am involved in its media ministry, elders, small groups and people’s lives. What Christ has shared with me, I like to share with others. I enjoy teaching others about Biblically-based tithing and offerings. In fact, I enjoy teaching. Teaching has become my passion in life.
My educational background includes computer science, project management, business analysis and business architecture. I find, no matter where my vocation leads me, I am always teaching others. I am an adjunct professor in the evening at a local university. I have written many articles and several books. So, if I can conclude anything about my life and career, I like to teach.
